TRIPLE-CUT CONTINUITY OFFENSE

Diagram 1 shows the basic 1-3-1 set. 1 makes an entry pass to the weakside wing (2). 4 backscreens for 3 who cuts to the ballside low post area. 4 then pops to the offside wing. 1 screens down for 5 who pops to the top and 1 rolls to the ballside high post.

If 3 or 1 are not open, 2 passes to 5 at the point, who reverses the ball to 4 and the triple-cut is repeated.

STRONGSIDE ENTRY: When the entry pass from 1 is made on the strong side to 3, the low post (4) must cross the lane and stop to permit 2 to cut off his screen to the ballside low post. |
